I have been crocheting for close to 10 years, but am now offering items for sale for the first time. I hope you will like the selection. You can see things I have made in the past here. I specialize in pillows and baby items, but also do anything from household and specialty items, all the way to afghans. There are quite a few things here for you to choose from, but I plan on adding items as I have time. My goal is your satisfaction and enjoyment of the finished products I have created. I take great pride in my work and always make sure it is of the utmost quality. Because I make all the items listed by hand, each item is unique. I do hope yours will become family heirlooms. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to email me. Custom work If you have something in mind - a particular pattern, color, or item that you would like done, send me an email. Chances are I can make it for you. If you have a picture of the item, please attach it to the email. Materials used I only use top quality materials. For baby items, I usually use Bernat Softee Baby sport weight yarn or Patons Beehive Baby Sport (acrylic/nylon), or Bernat Baby for lighter weight fashions. For heavier items such as pillows, I use either Lion Brand Wool-Ease (80% acrylic/20% wool) or Caron Simply Soft (100% acrylic). All yarns are machine washable and dryable. I never use any hand washable yarns. That said, it is recommended that you spot clean pillows only, to allow them to keep their shape. Colors Colors can be customized in most cases. For items made with Homespun, please see the Homespun color page. For items made with Lilly Sugar n' Cream cotton, please see this page (there are several pages, so be sure to click Next). To place an order: Just send an email to crochet@mchristi.wso.net with the item(s) you would like to order. Don't forget to include any additional information such as color and/or size. I will respond quickly and send you a confirmation of your order. I accept money orders and cashier's checks but I prefer Paypal. I do not accept personal checks, sorry. Details will be sent in the confirmation email. Please note: If you do not already have a Paypal account, you may be asked to open one. That said, Paypal registration is free, quick, and secure, so this should not be a problem. As soon as I have received payment, I will start working on your item. Because I make these items when they are ordered, please keep in mind that it will take some time to complete the work. For pillows, scarves and goose outfits, allow up to 2 weeks before shipping. For layettes without blankets and for baby afghans, allow 2-3 weeks. For full size afghans, allow 6-8 weeks. The log cabin design originated with a quilt block. It has been adapted many times for crochet. This is my version of it. Colors as indicated or custom. Let me know which colors you would like. It features a large black eigth note on a white background. Baby/Kids Booties   $7 Made with extra soft Softee Baby yarn, these are available in pink, blue, mint, light yellow, and white. Blue and pink have matching ribbon. Gender-neutral colors (green, yellow) have white ribbon. White can have either blue or pink ribbon. Sole length is 3.5". 0-6 mo. Hat   $6 Made with extra soft Softee Baby yarn. Same colors as booties. Fits head circumference of 14" but will stretch to 15-16". 0-6 mo. I can add a pompom if you like. (add $1) Mittens   $6 Made with extra soft Softee Baby yarn. Same colors as booties/hat, and same ribbon combination. Palm width is 2.5". 0-6 mo. Ripple afghan   $48 A lovely baby afghan made with Softee Baby yarn. Available in any combination of 2 colors with white. Mixed Shells afghan   $48 A delicate, single color afghan. Soft shells alternate with V stitches to create a beautiful, soft fabric. Available colors are pink, blue, light yellow, mint, white, or variegated. Mile-a-minute afghan   $55 A beautiful afghan made in strips. The middle is a colorful strip of shells. It is surrounded by a contrast color (white), then a row of cross stitches in matching sparkle yarn (with a shiny filament running through it), and bordered in white. Clusters of stitches make a nice, distinctive pattern in alternating colors (pink, blue, mint, light yellow, and white). Teardrop afghan   $52 An elegant afghan in the teardrop pattern made with Softee Baby yarn. Available in multi (pink, blue, mint, light yellow, white). Shells layette   $38 • With blanket Add $40 This layette is made with Cuddlesoft baby yarn, in green and white (also available in pink/white or blue/white). There is a sacque, bonnet, and booties. All three are finished with white buttons. The sacque has a beautiful round yoke, and the set is made in the shell pattern. This would make a great gift, or keep one for your own little one! The blanket measures about 40 in. x 40 in. and is optional. Fits 3-6 mo. Chevrons layette   $38 • With blanket Add $40 This beautiful layette is made with Softee baby yarn, in yellow, green, and white (also available in pink/blue/white). There is a sacque, bonnet, and booties. Sacque and bonnet are finished with white satin ribbon. It is done with 'chevrons', a ripple pattern. A great gift, or a nice keepsake to hand down to your own children. The blanket measures about 40 in. x 40 in. and is optional. Fits 3-6 mo. Afghans Mile-a-Minute   $160 This stylish afghan is made with Simply Soft yarn. It is very warm and incredibly soft. Measures about 65 in x 45 in. The interesting pattern looks like small ladders on the front, and chainlinks on the back. Colors shown are raspeberry and soft pink. If you click on the photo, you can see a few other sample color combinations that would work well. I can adapt colors to your tastes or decor. Tropical Ripple   $165 This elegant afghan is made with ultra soft Simply Soft yarn, and measures about 65 in. x 50 in. It is very warm and more dense than the mile-a-minute above. The ripple pattern is ridged to give it a nice texture. Colors shown are peach and mint (with white accents), but I can do other colors if you like. Click on the photo for a few sample color combinations. This one looks the same on both sides. Scarves/Hats Homespun scarf   $9.50 A very soft, thick, narrow scarf with a nice, wavy fringe. About 4 in. wide by 65 in. long. Very warm. Available in a variety of colors. You may choose any color from the Homespun color page, or just let me know what generic color you would like (i.e. blue, green, pink) and I will pick the shade of that color that looks best. I do reserve the right to substitute (with your express approval, of course) in case the color you chose isn't available at my local yarn stores. Shell scarf   $9.50 This is a scarf made in the shell pattern. Very airy and sophisticated. There is no fringe on this one. It is about 65 in. in length, and about 4-4.5 in. wide. It is made out of Lion Brand Wool-Ease. You may pick a color from the Wool-Ease color page (see above). Ladders scarf   $9.50 A stylish scarf with parallel ladders all across. No fringe, and about 4 in. wide by 65 in. long. Made with Wool-Ease in any color (see above). Eyelet scarf   $9.50 This is an elegant scarf made with Wool-Ease, in any color you choose (see above). It is made in an eyelet pattern. Again, no fringe, and about 4 in. wide by 65 in. long. Spikes scarf   $9.50 A very warm, very soft scarf made with Simply Soft yarn. Dark main color with spikes in a contrasting color. Choose any two matching Simply Soft colors (blues, greens, etc.). Fringe is optional. Size is 65 in. by 4 in. Hat   $9.50 A very warm, very soft hat made with Simply Soft yarn. One main color, two contrast color. Choose any matching Simply Soft colors (blues, greens, etc.). Hat fits heads 19-22" around (standard adult size). Household/Kitchen Coasters   $12 Set of 4. These are made with Lilly Sugar n' Cream 100% cotton yarn. They are very absorbent, and will make a nice addition to your kitchen decor. Cream with a colored border. Color shown is Wine, but you can pick another color to match your kitchen style. Goose outfits   $14 I can make any goose outfit from this page. Outfits that are listed but have no picture are not currently available. All are made with Wool-Ease yarn and made to fit a 24 in. plastic goose. These make great seasonal decorations. Buy yours today!
